Staffing Coordinator


We are looking for a competent Staffing Coordinator to join our Team! As a campus Staffing Coordinator, you should be a great communicator. Your main objective should ensure that the organization's staffing requirements are met and employees work in a cordial, steady work environment. You will help create a cohesive and unified staffing culture at Mentor Ridge as we strive to provide excellent staffing standards for our continuum of care program. Your creativity should shine through your ability to problem solve and provide solutions for staffing challenges and suggest improvements and changes that will benefit the campus.

RESPOSIBILIES AND MAJOR DUTIES:
  • Provide timely and concise communication to the Campus leadership on staffing needs, open shifts, shift changes and future staffing needs.
  • Manage the schedules electronically using existing programs and systems.
  • Encourage a positive Campus Culture amongst both communities and participate in joint meetings and education concerning staffing needs.
  • Reports all call offs and/ or attendance violations for employees of the facility to the appropriate party.
  • Participates as requested in the recruitment and hiring of all employees.
  • Develops, implements, and coordinates the day to day scheduling and assignments of nursing staff consistent with PPD management and minimum staffing requirements.
  • Monitors labor hours to ensure scheduled hours don’t exceed budgeted work hours.
  • Help in the preparation and execution of orientation and training plans.
  • Accept the responsibilities of timekeeping and time-off requests.
  • Develop and submit reports regarding various staffing tasks.
  • Excellent understanding of staffing policies, strategies, and best practices.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
  • Ability to manage and handle multiple tasks.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
