Mentor Ridge is thrilled to announce Cathy Fees, our amazing receptionist, as our 2024 Employee of the Year! For the past three years, Cathy has been the warm and welcoming face of our community, greeting everyone who walks through our doors with her positive attitude and infectious smile. Her kindness, dedication, and willingness to go the extra mile have made her an irreplaceable member of our team.



Cathy’s journey in healthcare began six years ago, driven by her passion for working with the elderly and making a difference in their lives. She describes her career in three words: rewarding, fulfilling, and joyful. When asked why she loves her job, Cathy’s answer is simple yet heartfelt: “Our residents.”

Her co-workers and residents alike echo their appreciation for her, saying, “We love Cathy! She’s always lending a helping hand and making us feel like family.” Cathy’s ability to listen, her generosity, and her constant smile have created a sense of warmth and connection in our community. Whether assisting residents and their families or stepping in to support her coworkers, Cathy consistently goes above and beyond.

One of Cathy’s favorite memories at Mentor Ridge is when the residents formed a dancing troupe, affectionately called “The Mentor Ridgetts.” Watching their joy and enthusiasm during their performance remains a highlight of her time here. Cathy, we are so grateful for everything you do to make Mentor Ridge a brighter, better place.
