"Due to horrible past experiences with another rehab facility, I was reluctant to send my dad to Mentor Ridge. It ended up being the best decision I could have made. It turns out that I was reluctant to leave and even inquired about long-term care options. The staff not only took amazing care of my dad, but also of my mom and myself too. They took the time to get to know us and provided conversations that helped us through some tough days. Amy was so welcoming when she gave me tour and was my go to person the entire stay. Boosie and Rebecca exceeded my expectations with nursing and I credit both of them for not only preventing future hospital stays, but even saving his life. Chastity handled a horrible sundowning night with professionalism and a personal touch that made all the difference.

Ed and Jon cared for my dad and went above and beyond every single day. Kaitlyn and Chelsey always greeted us with a smile and an offer to help. Taylor did a great job cleaning while providing a friendly conversation while doing so. I was thankful to learn that Flo would walk the halls at night with my dad and even have a snack with him to get him through the sundowning hours. Cathy and Kathy at the front desk were not only the first friendly faces we saw, they also inquired on how my dad and entire family were doing. There are many other names I did not catch that I wish I could have mentioned as well. Mentor Ridge not only has a qualified staff, but the right people that care about their residents and their families. I cannot imagine how difficult our time there could have been had it not been for the support we received from our now extended family. Thank you all!"
