Celebrating a Century
January 18, 2021
2021 started off with blessings at Mentor Ridge Health and Rehabilitation. We had the honor of celebrating the 100th birthday of long-term care resident, Mary S.

Mary has called Mentor Ridge Home for the last several years, and is a wonderful asset to our community. She is originally from Redding, Pennsylvania and lived there with her Deutsch mother and Italian father. As a young lady, she moved to Cleveland with her husband after his employment transferred him to their home office. Together they raised three children that she is very proud of, and states that she has had a wonderful and easy life.
Mary is always smiling and looking for the good each day. She has many hobbies and has collected antiques for many years. She loves going to search for "old things." She enjoys visiting with staff and residents at Mentor Ridge, and participating in activities with the Life Enrichment Department.

Mary was celebrated by the Lake County Council on Aging, and was presented with a Centenarian Certificate to commemorate the day. Donuts and Cake were shared with her family, staff and residents of Mentor Ridge. We wish Mary a very Happy Birthday and a wonderful year ahead!
At Mentor Ridge our residents are our top priority. We are dedicated to creating a Culture of Care that extends beyond our facility, to build an environment where our residents feel at home. If you or a loved one is looking for long-term care, reach out to our administrative team to see if Mentor Ridge is the right fit for you.
